ASDA Mobile Phones

Those who live in the UK are probably aware of the amazing deals at ASDA. Known as the “other” Wal-Mart, the company was first founded in 1965 by a group of farmers from Yorkshire. They later became a part of the Wal-Mart family in 1999. ASDA takes pride in providing the best form of value shopping, with prices that are up to 10% lower than their main competitors. They also have a large variety of fresh food, home accessories, clothing, and technology products. One benefit is the fact that they deliver fresh groceries right to your door.

ASDA has an outstanding mobile phone program, with the addition of all of the name brand phones on the market. In order to ensure an ASDA mobile phones customer that they are receiving the best coverage, the company has teamed up with Vodafone. The network covers up to 99% of the UK area, and is also available in over 200 countries.

Mobile Handsets

The Sony Ericsson W580i is one of the hottest phones currently on the market. If you act now, ASDA will also include free speakers which are worth £29.97. The phone is currently selling for £97.97 and features a stylish slide opening. It is classified as a music phone with access to all of the best tunes. The handset is very compact, allowing the user to view the information with the slide option closed as well as open.

The new LG Shine has received a lot of attention from the debut commercial. It is a phone and a mirror all in one. The current price is £94.00, and it is very reasonable considering all of the features that the phone has. In addition to the aluminum exterior, the phone also has a 2 mega-pixel camera, a 50MB of memory to store music, and a microSD memory card slot.

Topping up

When you have an ASDA mobile phone, you will not have to “top up” as frequently as before. However, when you do have to add minutes, there are three easy ways:

Give the cashier your ASDA mobile top-up card and you can automatically ask for the credit to be added to the mobile. There are currently 5,000 participating stores, not including ASDA where you can top up. If you choose to do so in an ASDA store, you will receive an extra 10% of airtime for free.

If you do not have a top up card, you can ask for a voucher instead. You will then be prompted to call the helpline, for free, by dialing the numbers 2732 from your phone.
The last way to top up is to call the helpline and register your debit or credit card information. After doing this, you will not have to add the information again. From then on, in order to top up, you will only have to call the helpline and add the credit to your phone automatically.

Price Plan

After purchasing an ASDA mobile phone, you will find that the price plan is very affordable and easy. The current prices are 16p per minute for the first 3 minutes. It will then be half price all day at 8p per minute. If you enjoy texting, it is 10p per text for the first 3 texts, and then 5p all day per text. ASDA currently has a special running from the 29th of August. All ASDA mobile phones will not be charged when calling inside of the EU. It will cost only 35p per minute to make a call, and 15p per minute to receive a call. This price plan is one of the most affordable plans in the UK and the most reliable.
